Hannah's blog post was very fascinating. I thought it was extremely creative to add in an activity portion of her blog post. I liked being able to participate in this study and learn more about the effect that laugh tracks have on popular tv shows. I was interested to find out that laugh tracks influence individual episodes as opposed to shows as a whole. Originally, I would have thought that laugh tracks always elicit more laughter from an audience, however this is clearly not the case.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! And, I'm glad I could share with you more about this interesting topic! You ranked both the episode of The Office and Friends the same. So, do you believe that having a laugh track in Friends doesn't make it funnier than The Office?
ReplyDeleteI think you are the first tie! Are you equally a fan of both shows? It would interesting to note if previous connection to the shows had anything to do with the responses.
